Known Issues on KB4507455 and KB4507450

Here, are the known issues that appear on KB4507455 for Windows 10 1709 and KB4507450 for version 1703-

Symptom Workaround

If you carry out certain operations like renaming of files and folders that are on a Cluster shared volume i.e. CSV, it may fail displaying following error message-

“STATUS_BAD_IMPERSONATION_LEVEL (0xC00000A5)”.

This trouble happens only if you try to execute these operations on a CSV owner node from a process using a Non-Admin account.

To fix this bug, you may follow any of these two solutions-

  • Login into your Admin account then only perform such operations.
  • Carry out such functions using a node which doesn’t require CSV ownership.

The team is currently working on a permanent solution to this and may incorporate the same in an upcoming release.

If you install any of the cumulative updates on your Windows 10 1700 series PCs, there may appear some bug while opening or using a Windows-Eyes screen reader app. In addition to this, some features may not function as supposed.

Note: Windows 10 Users who have recently switched to Freedom Scientific’s other screen reader app like- JAWS from Windows-Eyes may not obtain this error.

The Company is working on a resolution, once found, they may bring the same in an upcoming release.
