Apart from securing your whole operating system, this update also works upon a key issue. Earlier, when you attempt to reset a Windows device and its apps (having folders that contain reparse data like OneDrive, Office for Business), there appears an issue.
Even when you opt “Remove everything” files that have been downloaded or synced locally from Microsoft OneDrive might not be deleted. Though Windows 11 PCs took 3-4 days to resolve the above-mentioned issues, the time frame may increase to seven days in certain cases. However, once you solve this problem, this will prevent files from persisting after a reset.
An important improvement on this update
If you want to receive timely Windows updates, make sure to keep the “Windows Web Experience Pack” updated from the Microsoft Store. As per Microsoft, when you enable the App updates inside App Settings, the system will download and install the pending updates automatically on your computer.
In case you don’t want to keep this setting enabled, you may download and install the current Windows Web Experience Pack manually as well.
