Performing a few operations like renaming files and folders on a Cluster Shared Volume may return the following error-

“STATUS_BAD_IMPERSONATION_LEVEL (0xC00000A5)”.

Basically, this issue comes to vision when you execute the operation on a CSV owner node that requires ownership.

To resolve this bug, try any of the two methods-

  • Carry out the operation after logging in as Administrator.
  • Execute the operation on a CSV node that doesn’t require Admin privilege.
