On 21 August 2019, Microsoft unveils KB4512941 cumulative update for Windows 10 19H1 users which updates the existing OS to build 18362.325. This is a non-security patch released for the Insiders in the Released Preview ring to fix the other issues.
With this patch update, you will receive the quality enhancements but no new operating system features. However, this is nothing new anymore. Gradually you will update the ISO files again. Let’s get to the changelog.
Issue – 1: Anyone who has not changed the search settings will certainly not have this error: The search (Cortana) can cause a high CPU load. This can happen when you make a change to Cortana. This should be undone. According to a comment, the load will settle after some time, when the search index has gone through. Also, a conversion of the region from German to German (Austria) helps.
Workaround – This Regkey can fix the error. As long as no further changes have been made.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Search] "AllowCortana" = dword: 00000000 "BingSearchEnabled" = dword: 00000000 "CortanaConsent" = dword: 00000000
- The Windows Sandbox works again.
- The installation in the home version works well to install and use Windows 10 Home Windows Sandbox.
