Download Build

  • When you sign in again into the Windows Device, navigate to this path and check for pending updates for your System.
Settings->Update & Security->Windows Update
  • This will automatically download the build if available for you on Skip Ahead.
  • It is quite possible that when you install Skip Ahead Build on your System, Registry too will revert back to Slow or Fast ring. If that’s the case, you have to apply the changes again on the editor.

Note: This article is not meant for those who are already in Skip Ahead Ring rather only access the same on your Windows 10 current build.

Few Things to take care off before choosing Skip Ahead

A Skip Ahead feature will make your PC less stable as well as not much reliable. Bear in mind, if system smoothness is all you want, Skip Ahead is not for you. Therefore, don’t go for it instead just wait for the Fast ring to appear as RS_PRERELEASE.

Microsoft too requires Windows Insiders in the Fast ring so as to receive feedback on different issues. This will help them in bringing Windows 10 RS6 available to users. There is a upper limit on how many Windows Insiders can get this Skip Ahead on their System.

Once the limit is reached, there will be a message on flight settings page displaying that Skip Ahead for Windows 10 20H1 is now closed.

That would be all for now!
