If you have not yet upgraded to Windows 11 and are waiting for the next version of Windows 10 i.e. 21H2, there is good news for you. Microsoft is soon going to upload the Windows 10 21H2 enablement package via a cumulative update i.e. KB5003791. 

This new patch will upgrade your operating system and lash it with new features, improvements, and bug fixes. In addition to this, the OS Build number will enhance to 19044. If you are currently on an insider build, you need not require to download/install the Release Preview channel to come back to the normal OS Build. Just install this package and the rest will be done automatically.

Windows 10 21H2 is all ready and you may enable this minor update via the KB5003791 enablement package. Here, we outline the key aspects of this Build update that are known to us –

• Provides WpA3 H2E standard support for enhanced WiFi security.
• Now, Windows Hello for Business supports simplified passwordless deployment models. This ensures receiving the active deployment state.
• GPU compute support is now available in Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL). To make Machine learning even easier or simplify intensive compute workflows, even Azure IoT Edge for Linux on Windows (EFLOW) receives this feature. 

Note: As opposed to earlier two versions receiving the same update with different build numbers, users will now get a single update featuring all four versions i.e. 20H1, 20H2, 21H1, and 21H2.

You may use Windows update to receive this cumulative update automatically on your PC. The path to this is as follows –

Settings > Update & Security > Windows update

After you reach the above location, look for Windows 10 21H2 on the right pane. If you do find any link to download and install KB5003791, click over it. The rest process will be taken care of by Microsoft itself.

After you install the KB5003791 update, check if your device really upgrades to Windows 10 version 21H2 or not. To do so, use these steps –
